   Hi Scott,

   I used an old mobile phone mounting bracket. It was metal and hinged. I’ll see if I have any old pictures anywhere. It was very sturdy and when I sold the ‘wing, I just unscrewed it, replaced the badge and no one ever knew it was there. I had to modify the mount a little but I thought I’d written about that in the blog somewhere. Again, I’ll have a look and see what I can find.

   Hi Dave, I was just looking at your Goldwing section ref the zumo 550 you have mounted. I have one also on my 1800. I like your mounting position. Can you share how and what you used to mount that in the middle. Where would I get the bracket and or hardware? Also, is the GPS sturdy where it is mounted at. Looks great……….Thanks
