Navigating the
blog should be easy. You can either read the whole thing by clicking the
link above or you can use the Category links to the right to list only those
entries
that deal with the chosen subject. Also above are some tabs above providing
direct links to some seperate pages of specific interest.
The Goldwing was a US parallel import to the UK in the Navi/Comfort/Audio/ABS
trim. This was one of the first Goldwings in the UK with the built in navigation
system and there are a lot of entries in the blog about this. I sold this
bike on 14th Apr. 2008 when I purchased the Yamaha FJR.
Another
interest of mine is making, or at least attempting to make music. I've had
a Yamaha CVP207 Clavinova for about 6 years and a couple of years ago I decided
to teach myself to play an alto saxophone, Just recently I purchased a Yamaha
Tyros 2 keyboard which has sound quality at least equal to the Clavinova but
is portable.
I've
been videoing and recording my attempts to play this and have included entries
in the blog for each of these attempts. The Web Performances category will
list only these attempts.
I’ll
talk motorcycles or keyboards all day and welcome comments or questions.
I do my best to respond as soon as possible but please remember I’m
away or very busy sometimes.
Currently there are two motorcycles in my garage... a 2010 BMW K1300S and a 2009 Yamaha XJ6S Diversion. The latter is really Meike's bike... she's my wife. Oh, and I'm Dave.
I'd always liked the look of the Yamaha FJR and thought
it would provide everything I want from a touring motorcycle. Unfortunately
it didn't live
up to my expectations and so after just 4 months I went looking for its replacement.
Prior to the K1300S I had a BMW K1200S for around 18 months. Prior to this a Yamaha FJR1300 for just 4
months and prior to that a Honda GL1800 Goldwing that we owned for nearly
18 months. Also during the span from the Goldwing to the K1300S I also owned a Suzuki GSF 1250 SA Bandit.
I'm a member of the I.A.M. having passed my test in June
2008. We're members of
WaBAM, Wilts and Bath Advanced Motorcyclists and attend their rideouts whenever possible.
