It's
about my main hobbies namely motorcycling and playing music. I'm
Dave and my nickname on many internet forums is Burger. No real reason for
that other than I like burgers. Real ones that is, not the fast food muck
available in the high streets.
Navigating the
blog should be easy. You can either read the whole thing by clicking the link
above or you can use the Category links to the right to list only those entries
that deal with the chosen subject. There are also some tabs above providing
direct links to some seperate pages of specific interest.
Currently
I own two motorcycles. A 2006 Honda GL1800 Goldwing purchased as a US import
in Audio/Comfort/Navi/ABS trim and a 2007 Suzuki GSF 1250 SA (Bandit). This
is the latest liquid cooled big Bandit from Suzuki.
My
wife Meike is a very willing pillion passenger on either of the
bikes and we have a lot of fun touring on the Goldwing and going for blasts
on
the Bandit. We're also members of a number of model specific motorcycle clubs
for both bikes as well as a couple of general motorcycling clubs.
The Honda
Navi. I spent some time looking into it and trying various things
and have put up a sequence of pages detailing mine and others findings. If
you want to upgrade your Honda Navi then these pages are for you. Click the
Honda Navi tab above to read all about it.
Another
interest of mine is making, or at least attempting to make music. I've had
a Yamaha CVP207 Clavinova for about 6 years and a couple of years ago I decided
to teach myself to play an alto saxophone, Just recently I purchased a Yamaha
Tyros 2 keyboard which has sound quality at least equal to the Clavinova but
is portable.
I've
been videoing and recording my attempts to play this and have included entries
in the blog for each of these attempts. The Web Performances category will
list only these attempts.
I’ll
talk motorcycles or keyboards all day and welcome comments or questions.
I do my best to respond as soon as possible but please remember I’m
away or very busy sometimes.
